Project Engineer

Organization

The Project Engineer is responsible for the delivering of technical projects in the field of production / process equipment and/or utilities.

Function

As a Project Engineer, deliver projects in the field of production / process equipment and/or utilities. He focuses on budgeting, planning, executing, coordinating and describing the adjustments or new construction. All this within the agreed rules, guidelines and provisions. This with a project team or other.

IMPROVEMENT / INNOVATION

Identify shortcomings in projects, existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them. Advises about (future) modifications, expansions, replacements and new constructions

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

Setup/control of all documentation related to a project including requirement for Management of change.

LEADERSHIP AND DIRECTION

Explain the Project Plan to support project team members of what needs to be done and how this relates to the broader business plan. Acts, in name of the Manager Maintenance & Engineering, as the vocal point for all matters concerning projects such as Inspection Based Maintenance.

QUALITY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY

Follow the organization’s QHES policies, procedures and mandatory instructions; to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace; instruct the project team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the project team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
